Graveyard Keeper 2 Launches onto Consoles and PC

Graveyard Keeper 2 is now available across PC and consoles, inviting players to bury corpses, rebuild a medieval town, and command their own undead army. The sequel launches today, September 22, for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The follow-up arrives after attracting one million wishlists on Steam. Its predecessor, Graveyard Keeper, reportedly reached more than 10 million players with its unusual combination of cemetery management, resource gathering, and dark comedy.

Graveyard Keeper 2 expands upon that formula by giving players a larger town to explore and restore after it is overrun by the undead. While helping the surviving townspeople rebuild, players can travel between different locations, complete storylines, trade, fish, customize their character, and generate some extra revenue along the way.

Corpses remain an important part of the business. Players can harvest hearts, bones, brains, and skin to create an undead workforce, which can then automate some of the dirtier jobs around the graveyard. Resources, including human remains, can also be used to construct machinery, improve production, and expand the cemetery in pursuit of even greater profits.

The sequel also introduces battles involving a player-controlled zombie army. Alongside raising undead minions and fighting the approaching zombie apocalypse, keepers must grow food, care for livestock, and exterminate hostile creatures while transforming the struggling settlement into a productive medieval town.
