Nobody said working for the SCP Foundation would be a particularly healthy career choice. Go Home Annie: An SCP Game is now available on Xbox Series X|S, putting players into the shoes of a low-level employee whose very strange day at work quickly becomes considerably more dangerous.

Priced at £16.74, the game from Nordcurrent Labs and Misfit Village previously launched on Steam in 2024, where it earned Mostly Positive reviews.

Welcome To The Replication Division

Annie works for the SCP Foundation, the secretive organisation tasked with keeping anomalous entities and dangerous paranormal phenomena away from the general public. Her position isn’t exactly glamorous, though.

Annie finds herself repeatedly testing replicas of paranormal events and entities within the Foundation’s mysterious Replication Division. The bigger question is why this division exists in the first place – and why Annie seems to be trapped in a cycle where the same tests produce the same results.

Finding the answers means taking matters into her own hands.

Use The Anomalies Against Themselves

Go Home Annie mixes exploration and puzzle solving with some suitably twisted gameplay mechanics. Existing and original anomalies can be used to solve puzzles and find your way through the facility. But as you may suspect, exploring a secret paranormal research facility is unlikely to be particularly relaxing.

Experiments are taking place, subjects can escape, and danger can seemingly be waiting around every corner. Searching for answers therefore means being prepared for things to go wrong.

The result is an adventure that isn’t simply about surviving whatever happens to be lurking around the next corner. Annie is also trying to understand why she has been placed in this situation and what her role within the Foundation really means.

And, crucially, whether she can change the outcome.

Can Annie Change Her Fate?

Go Home Annie: An SCP Game originally made its debut on PC (Steam) in 2024, but Xbox Series X|S players can now experience its unsettling take on the SCP universe for themselves.

At £16.74 from the Xbox Store, this could be one for horror fans who prefer their scares mixed with exploration, puzzles and a mystery that gradually becomes more complicated.
