A Missing Daughter Leads Into An Old Nightmare

More than a year after six young girls disappeared in Sicily, a mysterious recording gives Susan fresh hope that her daughter might still be alive. Following the clue brings her to an isolated, decaying residence on the slopes of Mount Etna, once owned by the Ashmann family. What begins as a desperate search soon spirals into something far more disturbing, with hidden rooms, buried memories and human Stalkers standing between Susan and the truth.

The investigation also leads towards Cristo Morente, a forgotten Sicilian convent where the legend of the Red Nun began. Here, faith, guilt and forbidden rituals are tangled together, with the secrets of the past threatening to consume anyone who gets too close.

As the final chapter of the Remothered trilogy, Red Nun’s Legacy promises to bring the saga’s central mystery to a conclusion. Newcomers can also step into its world, with the story and survival mechanics designed to welcome players who haven’t followed the series from the beginning.

Survive The Stalkers And Bend Your Perception

This is a return to classic third-person survival horror, but Susan has more tools at her disposal than simply finding somewhere to hide. Murderous Stalkers patrol the environment, forcing players to run, evade and fight back when the situation demands it. Mistakes can be fatal, so exploring carefully and knowing when to move are crucial.

The game’s unusual abilities give investigation a supernatural edge. Retrocognition allows Susan to explore forgotten memories, while mirror abilities and hypnosis powers help reveal hidden routes and manipulate the environment. Even moth manipulation has a role to play, adding another strange mechanic to a toolkit built around perception and discovery.

Rooms need to be searched thoroughly for clues and key items, while environmental puzzles unlock new areas. Progress depends on paying attention to details and piecing together what happened, rather than simply surviving each encounter.

An Unsettling World With A Powerful Soundtrack

Stormind Games is aiming for an Italian neo-giallo flavour, combining psychological horror with richly detailed locations and a strong sense of place. The voice cast includes Cissy Jones as Susan and Maggie Robertson as the Red Nun, while the soundtrack brings together Akira Yamaoka, best known for his work on the Silent Hill series, and Aram Shahbazians.

The Deluxe Edition adds a digital artbook of almost 100 pages, exploring character designs, environments, animation concepts and the visual development of Cristo Morente and the Ashmann Villa. It also includes a 25-track digital soundtrack, with three bonus studio-session tracks.

The Final Chapter Awaits

With its missing-person investigation, supernatural abilities and dangerous Stalkers, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy brings the series back to the kind of survival horror where every corridor could hold a clue – or something far worse. Its blend of Sicilian folklore and psychological dread sets the stage for a final reckoning with the Red Nun’s origins.

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The Standard Edition costs £24.99, while the Deluxe Edition is £33.49 for those who want the artbook and soundtrack alongside the full game.
